Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. What Trelio is

Trelio helps you prepare applications for California state civil-service jobs: it stores accomplishments you enter, extracts publicly available information from job postings you point it at, and drafts Statement of Qualifications responses grounded in the material you provide. Trelio is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the State of California, CalHR, or CalCareers.

2. Your content and responsibility

You own the content you add — your stories, applications, and drafts. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of anything you submit to an employer. Trelio is designed to never invent experience, but you must review every draft before use; you, not Trelio, certify your application materials.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use Trelio to fabricate qualifications, misrepresent your experience, abuse or overload the service or third-party websites, or violate any law or hiring rule. We may suspend accounts that do.

4. AI-generated content

Drafts and chat responses are generated by AI from the material you provide and may contain errors. They are suggestions, not professional advice, and come with no guarantee of interview or hiring outcomes.

5. Service availability

Trelio is provided "as is" while in preview. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and limit our liability to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your data. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
